India A-WEB Center hosted an international webinar on “Issues, Challenges and Protocols for Conducting Elections during COVID-19: Sharing Country Experiences” on September 21, 2020, inviting Election Management Bodies to exchange the experience in conducting elections during the COVID-19 pandemic. Dr. Chih-Cheng Meng, the Commissioner of the CEC, gave a presentation titled " Making voting safe during a pandemic: Taiwan’s success in conducting elections in the wake of COVID-19", exchanged and shared with A-WEB member countries about Taiwan’s successful experience. Meantime, he conveyed that Taiwan government has the ability and is willing to take the responsibility to contribute to international epidemic prevention.
