To improve the election officials’ knowledge
and professional abilities in election, the CEC held 6 sessions of training
programs at the Civil Service Development Institute (Nantou Campus) from June
to July this year. A total of 231 election officials participated in the
program which included: Introduction on Election Administration, The Practice
of Voting and Counting, Preserving the Voting Rights for the Seniors and the
Disabled, Information Technology and Election Management, Election
Administration and Administrative Procedure Act, Election Act, etc. CEC
Chairperson Lee, Chin-Yung held a forum for each session and shared the
election work experiences with the trainees.
